Experience fishing in Doubtless Bay with your hosts Sam & Rona O'Shea of Hihi Charters who will ensure you enjoy your day fishing on 'Tammy' and come home with a large snapper or kingfish.

Snapper & Kingfish are the fishing favourites. Other species local to Doubtless Bay are Tarakihi, Trevally, kawhai, Gurnard, Golden Snapper, John Dory, with a variety of other reef species showing up at times. Pictures here

'Tammy' is your boat when you go fishing with Hihi Charters .
She is a 6.1 Surtees boat with a 150hp Mercury Optimax motor. She was built for sport fishing with a huge cockpit and plenty of rod holders.

'Tammy' carries all the safety equipment required by the Maritime Safety Authority. Tammy can take up to seven people in comfort, skipper and 6 passengers. This boat was selected for its outstanding ride and sea keeping qualities.
No matter what the weather does you will get home safely in this boat.

Rate: $60 per person - minimum charge of $180

Day Fishing: Bait and tackle are supplied, also tea and coffee, just bring yourselves and something warm in case the weather changes.

Area & Time: Fishing is in Doubtless Bay, duration 4-5 hours.
